DB Surfboards began in 1994 when I shaped my first board and became hooked on shaping and board designs. It felt magical to ride a board I created with my own two hands.

DB Surfboards since that time has grown from a garage hobby to a business dedicated to making the highest quality surfboards available anywhere. I have worked very hard over the last few years to make sure that each and every design I shape will be some of the best boards on the planet.

Since the closing of Clark Foam and the recent increase of surfboards from overseas it has become more important than ever to know what materials your boards are made from. We only use the best foams and resins for our boards even if it costs more. All our boards are made in San Diego, CA and we are proud of that.

We know how important the surfer/shaper relationship is in designing the best boards for our customers. When you are ready to order a new board don't hesitate to call me personally to discuss the details. I also invite you to come to our factory and order a board in person.
